Guimas, est. 1981 in Rio de Janeiro by friends Chico Mascarenhas, Priscilla, Ricardo Guimarães and Tintim.

Domingas Mascarenhas, daughter of Chico and a Rio de Janeiro native, moved to Lisbon four and a half years ago, joining the ranks of thousands of Brazilians.
Seizing the opportunity, she opened a branch of Guimas in Cascais, where she grew up in the restaurant, established when she was eight.
The Cascais branch, inaugurated in October 2023 with a nice décor that closely resembles that of the original Guimas in Rio.
The Menu Includes some of Rio’s classics like Chico’s Duck Rice, Cod à Brás, Chicken Breast with Brie, Guimas’ Moquequinha, Filet Mignon Picadinho, and House Filet 🥩
